Meta Agency Women’s Leadership Day is a day to empower and inspire women and non-binary leaders around the world in the ad community. This year’s global event featured the most diverse and inclusive speaker roster in Meta AWLD’s history, with curated programming tracks led by our MC Charithra Chandran and notable session topics such as Women in Web3 with Brit Morin, Inclusivity in the Metaverse with Caitlin Kalinowski, and Traversing Continents and Generations with award-winning author Min Jin Lee. After the event, we airdropped attendees a custom NFT from one of our partner artists, Tay Cabral, instead of the typical recap email. AWLD 2022 was launched across 72 countries (from 49) and in 6 languages (from 4), to nearly 3,000 registered guests.

CONTENT

Spanning three pillars of content types, our proceedings invited attendees to Empower, Connect, and Restore with a range of speaker formats, from panels and fireside chats to workshops and interviews. 

A web3 first take away for all attendees.

For the 2022 program, each attendee post event was able to claim the first AWLD NFT designed by partner artist Tay Cabral. A first for the brand, the NFT was an opportunity for Meta to use web3 tactics to engage attendees as well as align with the focus of the 2022 content - web3 and the metaverse.
